Programs

SingWell creates inclusive opportunities for people to sing together — spaces where “bad singing” is welcome, people can participate on their own schedules and comfort level, and evidence-based approaches are used to support people with diverse abilities and needs. Because singing is for everyone.

Participation, not performance

Singing is a natural and ancient human activity, and the benefits come from taking part, not how you sound. You don’t need to think of yourself as a singer to experience these benefits — all voices are welcome!

Connection comes first

Finding meaningful opportunities to connect with others can be hard in today’s world. Our programs are intentionally designed to help people feel more connected from the very first session, with relationships that continue to grow over time.

Grounded in evidence

SingWell was founded by researchers studying the benefits of group singing. Our programs and facilitators are guided by best practices to support meaningful, inclusive experiences that actively boost health and wellbeing.

Join on your own terms

Our sessions are drop-in and flexible—you won’t fall behind if you miss one. You’re always welcome to participate at your own pace, whether that means singing fully or simply being in the room.

Bring a SingWell group to your organization

You’re already doing the hard work of supporting your community. SingWell offers something that humans have known for millennia and science has now confirmed: the power of singing together.

SingWell brings evidence-based group singing programs to community organizations serving older adults and others who stand to benefit from group singing’s boosts to health and wellbeing.

We handle everything that happens in a session. You bring the space, the people, and the mission. Together, we create something that feels bigger than the sum of its parts.

What we offer

Tap into Canada's growing social prescribing movement.

Social prescribing is changing how health and community organizations work together. As more health practitioners and service users look to connect with community-based programs, we’re working to make trusted group singing programs a regular feature of these care pathways.
